US President Joe Biden has been warned of the "real risk" facing his presidential chances in the upcoming election, as Donald Trump prepares an appeal against his guilty verdict.
On Thursday, the former president was the first in history to be found guilty on all 34 counts in his infamous hush money trial at a New York court.
Addressing the world in a press conference at Trump Tower, he hit out at Joe Biden and branded him the "dumbest president we've ever had".
Trump also pledged to appeal the verdict and made clear he intends to "fight and make America great again".

Speaking to GB News, US commentator Laurie Laird said the former Potus has an "effective appeal" mounting in his favour and hailed his "wide-ranging" speech at the press conference.
Laird told host Martin Daubney: "I'm not a lawyer, but there are a number of areas where there could be an effective appeal mounted.
"One of the things Donald Trump's lawyers will do is look at the judge's daughter, who does work for a group of Democratic operatives, and so that may be grounds for appeal."
Laird added that there are a "number of other grounds" where Trump's team could make a "feasible" appeal against the verdict.

Laird noted that although Trump "can't appeal because he doesn't like the decision, he can appeal on the process."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Highlighting the "unusual" process of Trump's trial, Laird explained: "There are a number of things about this trial that were unusual. Most of all was the implication.
"But the prosecution never pushed this too hard, that federal election law had been broken, after these business records were falsified. That's the reason they were falsified. This mixing and matching of state and federal law is unusual. That could be grounds for appeal."
Laird continued: "The prosecution has 30 days to file an appeal, and they almost certainly will. That appeal will start to grind its way through the system.
"July 11th, that's D-Day for the sentencing. It would be unusual. I don't think the legal experts think that Donald Trump will be behind bars."
Laurie Laird says Donald Trump has an 'easy attack' on Joe Biden

Turning the discussion to Donald Trump's attack on Joe Biden, where he accused him of being "dishonest" and the "dumbest president", Laird admitted that we will "see much more" of Trump's swipes at Biden in the coming months.
She told Martin: "It's a very easy way to go after Biden, and I think we'll see much more of that sort of thing.
"He seems much more energetic than Joe Biden at the podium, and that's a real risk for Biden."
She added: "Joe Biden is an interesting sort of paradox, you may not agree with his legislation, but in terms of getting things through, shepherding things through Congress, he has a very, very good record."
