US President Joe Biden's "disastrous" decision to evacuate service members from Afghanistan has left the country "blind and deaf" to potential future threats from Asia, it has been claimed.
The President has faced widespread criticism after demanding that his generals abandon Bagram Airfield and draw down troops to zero, resulting in 13 service personnel being killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul.
The evacuation also meant $85billion of US military equipment was left in Taliban hands.
Marking three years since the events took place, Biden insisted the move was still a "success", with Kamala Harris hailing his "courageous decision".

Discussing the fallout of Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal, Sebastian Gorka, Former Deputy Assistant to Donald Trump, claimed America's reputation has been tarnished and the nation "can't be trusted anymore".
Gorka explained: "We expended literally trillions of dollars, thousands of lives in US uniform, also our allies and partners, and then I guess we just said it's too hard.
"We're going to just skulk out of Central Asia and our enemies will be emboldened - we'll leave $85billion worth of equipment there that the Taliban can parade with, and anybody who trusted our word, those who worked with us will realise that America doesn't keep her promises."
When asked by GBN America host Steven Edginton how the decision will impact Kamala Harris going forward with her possible presidency, Gorka claimed she would "blame Trump" for what happened.

Gorka told GBNA: "It won't impact her in any meaningful sense, because she's starting to say that she wants to build the border wall and wants to make tips for service industry free of tax.

Criticising Harris for her support for Biden in the decision making over Afghanistan, Gorka fumed that the 13 deaths that occurred as a result of the evacuation are "on Joe Biden's watch".
He added: "She's proud of the decision to abandon Afghanistan. She said she was the last person in the room when Joe Biden made that decision. So the disastrous collapse of Afghanistan, the takeover of the Taliban, the 13 servicemen and women who were murdered that day by an ISIS suicide bomber, that's all under Joe Biden's watch.
"I was in the Trump administration, and we were never going to leave Afghanistan in such a completely catastrophic fashion. For 18 months, not one serviceman was killed in Afghanistan, because that's the art of the deal with Trump."

Analysing the current situation of America's presence in Afghanistan and more widely in Asia, Gorka warned that the US has been left "blind and deaf" by the withdrawal made by Biden.
Gorka said: "Bagram could host 17 C-130 aircraft, it had military length runways. It was the only military asset of its kind in Central Asia, close to China's nuclear weapons facilities. We don't have that anymore.
"China's moved in and we are blind. When this administration says 'don't worry about it, we've got technical assets', you can't fly a UAV from Nevada to Kabul.
"We are now blind, deaf and dumb in Central Asia, one of the most strategically important areas of the world."
