An ex-Republican congressman has argued that Joe Biden is "not the same man" he was during last election's debates.
This comes after it has been revealed that Biden and Donald Trump have agreed to hold two presidential TV debates in June and September.
Speaking to Patrick Christys on GBN America, former republican congressman from Georgia, Doug Collins said: "The media would simply say if Joe Biden shows up and expresses a thought and says 'I'm Joe Biden, the president' they're going to declare him the winner.
"Because in the last year-and-a-half to two years with the gaffes and the fumbling around, there's plenty of things to call and concern about Joe Biden's age and his grasp of the situation.

"I think that's going to become the interesting part. As you look at this going forward this is going to be the real key at the end of this.
"I think as you get closer to November, you're going to have a look at two candidates who are going to be expressing themselves to the voters, and the voters are going to say who is the best.

"Not only to lead, but also to lead for some time. And I think this is where Donald Trump, with his energy levels, will be far ahead.
"The determination of winners and losers in debates is a subjective thing.
"I'll also say that the Joe Biden of 2020 who did come to those debates is not the same Joe Biden that most people have seen in the last two-and-a-half years on their TV screens.
"So I think it's going to be an interesting scenario to see what happens in those debates."

Joe Biden has been plagued by scrutiny surrounding his age, with the 81-year-old already the oldest sitting president in US history.
Jill Biden’s former press secretary Michael LaRosa, responded to the Georgia ex-congressman by arguing that his record speaks for itself.
“His record is quite more accomplished than his opponent even given his age.
“He was able to pass 300 bipartisan bills within two years of being president, he managed to pass a bipartisan infrastructure, the biggest infrastructure package in the US since Dwight Eisenhower in the ‘50s that Trump only talked about.

“What worked well for us in 2020 was showing up. Trump seems to be able to get his own way and you will see that again. We are happy to allow that for a third debate with Joe Biden.”
Asked to elaborate on his comments, he said: “The debates they held years ago did not go well for the former President.
“Biden got the better of Trump and came out ahead in the polls in those debates and we went on to win the election.”
The first debate will take place in the key swing state of Georgia and set the tone for what promises to be a lengthy and bitter race to the White House.
