Will the presidency of Donald Trump be a good or bad thing for Britain? GB News members had their say in the poll below

As the world waits for Donald Trump's return to the White House, GB News asks its members if the soon-to-be 47th President will be good or bad for Britain.

Trump, who shocked his critics yet again after romping to victory in November, will return to the White House later today following his inauguration.

The 78-year-old is known for his preference for high-tariffs, with Sir Keir Starmer now hoping to strike a post-Brexit trade deal with the US.

However, failing to do so could cripple specific sectors of Britain's already struggling economy.

But it might just be that the "America First" President poses some major problems to Britain along the way.

A whopping 96 per cent of GB News members who voted in the poll believe the presidency of Donald Trump will be a good thing for Britain, while just four per cent think it will be bad.
