Nigel Farage has been urged to increase his security after Donald Trump was shot at a campaign rally.
The former president of the United States was seen with blood pouring down the side of his face after being hit in the ear during an attack over the weekend.
Farage, who is an ally of Trump, has since spoken out about the attacks that he has faced over the past few weeks.
Speaking to GB News this morning, political analyst Roger Gewolb said: "This is America, this is the Wild West, where you might as well shoot a cowpoke just as soon as argue with him. I mean, that's life over there.

"This is what happens. This is what people are fairly used to. And I don't think it's going to change the complexion of America or anything. I think it makes Donald Trump look like a hero."
He added: "I don't know if I should say this but I WhatsApped Nigel Farage this morning I said you should beef up your security."

Yesterday, Farage said he was left “upset” about the attempt on the former president’s life that left him bloodied and saw him dragged off stage by the Secret Service.
But the Reform UK leader was quick to lay blame at a media “narrative” that he feels has been a key contributor to the shocking event taking place.
“I’m afraid the narrative that is put out there about Donald Trump is just so dangerous and damaging”, he said.
“We’ve seen it in British politics. There are extremists / terrorists on either end of the spectrum.
"What we’ve seen through mainstream media and social media are millions of people turning towards hatred.
“I have to tell you, we are not that far behind in this country.”
Trump has spoken out since the attack and has said that he believes turning his head to look at a screen may have saved his life - resulting in an injury to his right ear.
The Republican explained that he had slightly turned to the right so that he could read a chart on illegal immigrants.

"I rarely look away from the crowd. Had I not done that in that moment, well, we would not be talking today, would we?," he told the New York Post.
"The most incredible thing was that I happened to not only turn but to turn at the exact right time and in just the right amount."
He added that he survived "by luck or by God."
