Nigel Farage has offered to work alongside a Labour Government and strengthen a potential relationship between Donald Trump and Keir Starmer.
The GB News presenter said he would be "ideal" for the role of Britain’s ambassador to US if both Labour and the Republicans win power this year.
According to Farage, the UK Ambassador to Washington needs to be a person who could "talk face to face" with the President.
He added that previous "unfortunate" comments made by the Labour leader and Foreign Secretary David Lammy could make relations "difficult".
