Now, with what matters to you at the heart of every editorial decision we make, GB News is heading into 2025 with a mandate from an ever-increasing number of people across Britain to keep up that fight.
And there WILL be plenty of battles ahead.
We have enemies who would like to rip out our heart and kill the channel stone dead.
But we won’t let that happen because we are now stronger than ever.
We have built a community that cares deeply about being involved in finding the right direction for Britain and trusts us to help them.

In recent months we have doubled down on our mission to put you at the centre of the action on GB News.
With days of live broadcasting from Durham, Grimsby, Blackpool as well as Britain’s under-siege farming communities, we have given a voice to the real Britain.
By deliberately turning the focus away from listening to those in Westminster, many of who have let us all down for decades, we have heard instead from you.
We’ve broadcast your hopes, your dreams.
From what we’ve seen there’s plenty of people out there who have got the feeling they’ve been cheated.
I can understand that.
I was lucky enough to grow up in the north-east of England in the 1980s.
It was a time of social strife driven mainly by industrial change that brought some communities to their knees.
But though there were plenty of casualties the courage and strength of those communities remained.
The people came together as they had done for generations with a spirit forged through adversity.
As they, and plenty of other places the length of breadth of the nation, fought on they were promised better from successive governments.
But ‘better’ never really came.
This time last year we were heading into what became an election year with yet more promises from every political party.
As usual they all were pretty confident that they had the unique answer to the problems we face.
The people gambled on change.
And where has that got us so far?
Listening to the people in the GB News community over the past few months the results are mixed at best.
But the fight for ‘better’ goes on.
From what we’ve seen people want to live happy, hopeful lives and to be governed fairly.
And there is real hope for a better future, as long as the people in charge listen to you.
This country is great and can be even greater but achieving that won’t come easily.GB News is where the focus of the fight for ‘better’ will be.
GB News is where the people of Britain know they can have their say and make those who govern listen.
And those people will have to listen because our community is only getting bigger and louder.
Together with you, the beating heart of this channel, we can strive for positive change and make 2025 the best possible year for all of us.
As long as we keep your trust and we maintain our mission to fight for you, our critics will not rip the heart out of this channel.
This is the year the people will speak and they will be heard.
This will be a Happy New Year.
