A heavily pregnant woman was stabbed to death by her boyfriend who was having an affair, a court has heard.
Barman Alessandro Impagnetiello, 31, confessed to murdering his partner Giulia Tramontano, 29, after she discovered that he was cheating on her.
Hours before her death, Tramontano met up with Impagnetiello’s second lover, a British-Italian waitress, to trade stories about their shared partner.
The 23-year-old woman, who has not been named in the trial, reached out to Trampntato when she discovered that Impagnetiello was two-timing and had a pregnant girlfriend.

The interaction between the pair was captured on CCTV, as they hugged one another before leaving the meeting in May 2023 - one of the last images taken of Trampntato before her murder mere hours later.
However, upon returning home, the 29-year was ambushed by her lover, who launched into a frenzy with a knife, stabbing her numerous times
He told the courtroom: “She was cutting some vegetables with a knife.
“I waited for her and hit her at the neck.”

He then tried to burn the body of his deceased girlfriend twice, once in the bath at home with alcohol and the second outside with petrol.
He said: “I tried to make Giulia's body disappear, I tried to set fire to Giulia's body. I tried to do it in the tub, then from the bathroom to the stall.
“I moved her body through four flights of stairs and then I responded to some messages…. I was the one using Giulia's phone, I tried to continue to hide and hide".
After murdering the mother of his unborn child, Impagnetiello drove to meet his mother for lunch, with Tramontano’s body lying in the boot of the car.
The following day, he reported her missing to the police. He then tried to throw officers off the scent by sending messages to her phone asking where she was.
He also sent a text to his mistress proclaiming himself a “free man”.
The murder took place in Milan in May 2023
GETTYHe claimed that Tramontano left him after discovering his affair and he was worried about her whereabouts. However, the ruse did not last for long, as days later, the barman confessed to the murder.
Confessing to the crime, Impagnetiello told the Milan court: “I killed Giulia Tramontano but I don't know why. The number of stab wounds will always haunt me.
“The person I was in that period is not the person I am today.
“This trial is helping me organise my scattered thoughts and confusing pieces. Now, I can reveal the real truth. I had created a web of lies in which I drowned.”
Impagnetiello also admitted that he dosed his pregnant partner with rat posion, hoping to trigger a miscarriage.
He was charged with aggravated murder, concealment of a body and abortion without consent.
