Shocking interrogation footage has revealed the extent to which Hamas leaders went to convince followers to commit acts of atrocity in Israel.
In a video released by the Israeli Defence Force (IDF), a group of terrorists divulged information on what they were told ahead of attacking Israel.
The deadly raid saw the deaths of some 1,400 Israelis and around 200 taken hostage.
According to one of the attackers, those able to bring a hostage back to Gaza were promised “an apartment and $10,000”.

“The instructions were to kidnap elderly women and children, clear the houses and kidnap as many prisoners as possible”, he told the interrogator.
Another terrorist said he was berated by his commander for opting to “waste bullets” by shooting an already dead woman.

“Her body was lying on the floor”, he said.
“I shot her, and my commander yelled at me for wasting bullets on a dead body.”
The terrorists said they were ordered to not concern themselves with distinguishing between civilians and soldiers during their murderous rampage.
One terrorist described the scene he witnessed upon entering a home and finding a resident who had been shot dead.

“Two [terrorists] went into the house. We heard voices inside”, he said.
“Another two [terrorists] came in. There was one [Israeli] lying on the floor next to the door. I don’t know if he was dead, but there was blood next to him.”
The Hamas terrorists also disclosed sickening details as to how they forced people out of their shelters.
They told Israeli authorities that smoke would be used in a bid to flush innocent civilians out.
The terrorists, all interrogated individually, unanimously stated their explicit instruction was to kill and kidnap civilians including the elderly, women and children.
Senior commanders were also said to have remained in safe houses and in hiding as the acts of horror were carried out.
Israel’s response to the attack has been a bombardment of Gaza, with the death toll topping 5,000 according to the enclave’s Ministry of Health.
Nearly half of those to have perished are said to be children.
