Vladimir Putin has unleashed a drone strike against Ukraine after Volodymyr Zelensky compared the Russian President to Adolf Hitler.
The deadly drone swarm comes just hours before Russia marks its Victory Day over Nazi Germany on May 9.
Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Odesa have also been targeted during Putin’s latest onslaught.
The mayor of the Ukrainian capital claimed Moscow fired 36 Iranian-made kamikaze drones at Kyiv.

Putin has particularly focused on the USSR’s fight against Nazi Germany in the final four years of the Second World War.
He has claimed the ongoing invasion of Ukraine is a so-called “special military operation” which was launched to bring about the “denazification” of the ex-Soviet state.
Kyiv and its allies in the West have refuted the Russian President’s comments.
Zelensky made reference to the Second World War to challenge Putin over his conduct.

The comedian-turned-politician also compared his compatriots with those who fought against Hitler during the Second World War.
Zelensky said: “Recalling the heroism of millions of Ukrainians in that war against Nazism, we see the same heroism in the actions of our soldiers today.”
He added: “Unfortunately, evil has returned. Just as evil rushed into our towns and villages then, so it does not. As it killed out people then, so it does now.

But Ukrainian officials fear Russia could plan to capture frontline cities to mark Victory Day.
A video emerged over the weekend which showed Putin’s troops attacking Bakhmut.
Ground forces commander Colonel Oleksandr Syrski claimed Putin “still hopes to capture [Bakhmut] by May 9”.
The 57-year-old added: “Our task is to prevent this.”
