American author and anti-jihad campaigner Robert Spencer has told Steve Edginton on GBN America that he feels Muslims are “not being persecuted” in Gaza and “there is no genocide”.
Calls for a ceasefire have ramped up in recent months with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer among the names to make the demand.
But speaking on GBN America in an interview you can watch above, Spencer says leaders in the West are beginning to feel “pressured” by forces in the Middle East before likening the situation to the persecution of Uyghur Muslims in China.
“It’s interesting to note that although the Uyghur Muslims are being viciously and violently persecuted by the Chinese government, you don’t hear anything about that from Islamic leaders”, he said.

“You do hear a great deal about Gaza, where Muslims are not actually being persecuted and where there is no genocide and so on.
“So what is the difference in the first place? It is the possibility of victory. The Muslim leaders know that leaders in the West, like Starmer and Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, they will give them what they want if they’re pressured.

“They pressure them, but they know that they could bring any, any amount of pressure on the Chinese communists, and the Chinese communists will tell them to get lost.
“They know how to choose their battles. They’re not idiots.”
Spencer went on to claim that the calls for a ceasefire from the upper echelons of western governments are due to the rising influence of the Muslim vote.
“Western leaders are allowing it because they think the Muslim vote is very important and they want it”, he said.

“As the Muslim populations have increased in Britain and to a lesser degree in the United States, the Muslim vote becomes very important.”
Keir Starmer has called for a Gaza ceasefire “that lasts”, reaffirming his stance at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool this week.
He also demanded the return of the hostages during his speech from the Gaza Strip that were taken on October 7 last year by Hamas terrorists.
