Colleges and universities across America have had their curriculums disrupted

Mass protests against Israel’s Gaza offensive would not be happening in America had Donald Trump been president, according to Daily Wire host Michael Knowles.

Speaking on GBN America, Knowles says the conflict would not have happened in the first place had Trump been in power as we almost had “world peace” during his stint in office.

Colleges and universities across America have had their curriculums disrupted by campus mayhem as thousands of students have descended to make their feelings clear.

“President Trump has played his hand very well here”, he said.

“Rather than weighing in too deeply with the thoughts that are going through the minds of these undergraduates, that where lies madness I think, all of this is the result of Joe Biden’s terrible foreign policy.

“None of this would be happening if he were president. While that may seem like a cheap throwaway line, Trump has credibility on this because when he was president, the world was basically at peace.

“He was able to bring peace to the Middle East. Something that would have been a joke a few years before Trump was president.

“He can point to the Abraham Accords and the fact Putin did not further invade any country on his watch and North Korea were even playing around with the United States, he can point to that.”

Knowles continued to hit out at those protesting, showing the demonstrations have only served to expose “incoherence” among those on the left.

He told Jacob Rees-Mogg: “When journalists do speak to the protesters, we can see the incoherence of the political left.

“There was one interview that went viral of a girl at NYU (New York University) who was asked, ‘what are you protesting?’, she turned to a fellow protester and asked ‘what are we protesting? Something about Palestine?’

“It requires an Ivy League education to display that kind of ignorance.”

Students are demanding their education institutions boycott companies and individuals with ties to Israel amid the ongoing war.

Tensions have been escalating in the wake of the 7 October terror attack by Hamas that left around 1,200 dead in Israel and prompted a heavy response.

More than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed since and students have flocked to their universities to call for a ceasefire.

Chaotic scenes have resulted in arrests at campuses in Los Angeles, California and in Atlanta, Georgia.
