The former First Lady will release her memoir just over a month before the election

Melania Trump has teased a new bombshell tell-all memoir in a new video which she says will "clarify the facts".

In a dramatic black-and-white video posted on social media, Melania teased the book as a "deeply personal and reflective journey".

The former model, whose upcoming book 'Melania' will be released in October, promised to "clarify the facts" and share her perspective on her time as First Lady.

She said in the video: "As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts."

Melania has two versions of the memoir available for pre-order exclusively through her website.

A "collector's edition" is priced at $150, whilst a standard "Memoir Edition" is listed at $40, with signed copies available for $75. The book promises to offer "never before seen" details of her life with Donald Trump and will include 48 pages of previously unpublished photographs.

The former First Lady's literary venture comes amidst her absence from her husband's presidential campaign trail. She has made only a brief appearance at the Republican convention in Milwaukee in July.

The third wife of Donald Trump is intensely private and spent much of her White House years focused on raising her son Barron, who was a teenager at the time. As the first foreign-born First Lady since Louisa Adams in the 1820s, she delayed moving into the White House for five months after her husband's inauguration

There has also been some speculation surrounding her potential role should Donald Trump win a second term.

Mary Jordan, author of an unauthorised biography on Melania Trump, told Axios that the former First Lady might not reside in the White House at all.

Instead, Jordan suggests she could split her time between Trump properties in Florida and New York, where their son Barron has reportedly started university.

It comes as Trump's campaign strategy has shifted focus in recent weeks, following Kamala Harris's nomination as the Democratic candidate.

The former president is now concentrating efforts on the "blue wall" states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

Trump has scaled back operations in New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Virginia, which were previously considered battleground states. His team is also working to regain polling leads in North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada.

The change in strategy comes after a period of falling poll numbers for Trump. His campaign is now investing heavily in advertising in key states, with a super PAC spending over $16million in North Carolina alone in what some commentators say is an attempt to counter Harris's growing support.
