US musician Alexis Wilkins has taken aim at Kamala Harris’s “blatantly racist and sexist” presidential bid.
Speaking to Steven Edginton on GBN America, Wilkins said the Democrats have an obsession with “luxury issues” and aren’t focusing enough on the legitimate concerns of voters.
She also argued the Democrats are too focused on promoting Harris’s background as a black woman.
“Their play here is pretty racially driven and I would venture to call it racist”, she said.

“It’s also sexist, saying that someone should vote for something based on the colour of their skin or gender. It’s blatantly racist and sext.
“It’s against a meritocracy. It’s pretty delusional to think that you’re going to get an entire population or an entire demographic to vote for you just because you say, ‘look, I am the girl boss of this generation’ or however the left would put it.

“It’s definitely not working on me. I’m pretty offended by it, and I think other people are too.”
She went onto argue the country is no better off under Joe Biden, and therefore voters not basing their vote on cultural issues will struggle to be convinced.
“We’re not better off than we were four years ago”, he said.
“We’re being played based on our emotions. I think people are starting to wak up and be offended by the things that they should be offended by.

The Vice President is preparing to set out her stall in her first major interview since being formally chosen as the Democratic presidential nominee.
She will be joined by her running mate Tim Walz for the prime-time appearance.
Harris stepped in to take on the Democrat nomination after the unprecedented withdrawal from the race by incumbent President Joe Biden.
