Schools are going along with Biden’s plans out of fear of “getting sued”, according to a former Donald Trump adviser.
May Mailman, who worked as a legal advisor for the former President, told GB News that “men should not be playing women’s sports” in a scathing rant about Biden’s policy.
It comes as the US President prepares to introduce plans that will not allow for anti-trans sports bans in schools.
“The Biden administrations says in this proposed regulation that you should be separating sports based on gender identity”, Mailman said.
“So anyone who says that they’re a woman can play on the woman’s team unless the school can give a really good reason why that person can’t participate on that team.
“Of course the schools don’t know what a really good reason is, so they’re just going to allow it because they don’t want to get sued.

“So therefore we’ve got to kick a bunch of ladies off the team. We have to make all the women feel uncomfortable.
“We have to put them all at risk of injury to protect this man. The Biden administration has basically done exactly the opposite of what you would hope that leadership would do when you have a crisis of this nature in our young people.”
Mailman said Biden’s proposed amendments to the “super successful” Title IX law will be “taking away a spot” for women.
“You’re actually violating Title IX”, she said.
“You’re doing a disservice to the law. So whenever Biden comes out with his final regulation, he is going to get sued, I would say within 30 seconds of him releasing that rule.”
Democrats in Congress have been urging the Biden administration to push on with the plans.
More than 60 House Democrats sent a recent letter to Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona in a bid to get the agency to act.
There is vocal opposition to the proposals, including from media personality Caitlyn Jenner.
Jenner has long advocated for the expulsion of trans girls in women’s sports, arguing it is “not fair”.
She told John Cleese that Biden has been on the “wrong side of every issue in history” as she spoke on his advocacy for the Title IX law to be “opened up”.
