Elon Musk has astonishingly declared his son who is now a transgender woman is “dead” after being killed by the “woke virus”.
The Tesla CEO, who is reportedly the father to 12 children with three women, made the claim during an interview with firebrand conservative commentator Jordan Peterson.
Vivian Jenna Wilson was born as Xavier Musk but changed her name and said in court filings she “no longer wishes to be related” to her father.
Speaking to Peterson about his transgender daughter, Musk said: “I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier, before I had really any understanding of what was going on, and we had Covid going on, and so there was a lot of confusion. I was told Xavier might commit suicide.”

The 53-year-old added: “They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason.
“The reason it’s called ‘deadnaming’ is because, your son is dead. So my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”
Deadnaming is what transgender people typically refer to other people calling them by the name they went by before they began to transition.
Musk concluded: “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that and we’re making some progress.”

The Canadian conservative commentator instead insisted underlying depression and anxiety cause higher trans suicide rates rather than gender dysphoria.
However, the Trevor Project found 46 per cent of transgender and non-binary young people seriously considered suicide in the US in 2023.
Musk’s comments about wanting to “destroy” the woke mind virus comes as he weighs in on ongoing political discussions.

Peterson is known for pushing traditional theories about both masculinity and culture.
Musk also committed $45million a month to a SuperPac supporting Donald Trump’s 2024 White House campaign.
The billionaire previously donated money to both Republicans and Democrats.
Musk is now reportedly looking to recruit fellow billionaires after JD Vance was unveiled as Trump’s running-mate.
He was pitching the pair to OpenAI backer Vinod Khosla and Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings.
In a social media post, Musk said: “My smartest friends, including those living in the San Francisco Bay Area who have been lifelong Dems, are excited about Trump/Vance.”
