Speaking on his ‘Club Random’ podcast, the broadcaster spoke to comedian Martin Short about a generational “obsession” with talking about being gay.
He claimed that the trend is a form of “entrapment” while claiming the political sphere in the US is plagued with voices “denying facts”.
“There’s people on the left who think that biology is just a theory”, he fumed.

“It’s that kind of stuff, men can have babies kind of stuff, it makes people go: ‘Trump is nuts’, we know that, but this is a different kind of nuts.”
He went on to claim it is a matter that is “close to home” as his children are now questioning ‘Am I queer?’

Maher has spoken out on feeling “snubbed” as a citizen, claiming the Democrats are offering little to try and win his vote.
He claimed on HBO that he is being “gypped” due to constant Trump attacks.
“I’ve covered many primary seasons, and I feel like I'm being gypped this time because it's not happening this time, it’s over already,” Maher said.
“We don't even get the audition phase of our reality show that we call an election.

“Trump is winning two blocks that he never won before, Hispanics and people under 35.”
The television host is an outspoken voice on political matters, having previously addressed the Israel-Palestine conflict.
In an explosive rant in October, he questioned why LGBTQ+ people would show solidarity with Palestine, a country that opposes gay rights.
“It’s amazing to me that the American Left, so much of it, throws itself in with people whose values I hope they don’t share”, he said.
“The Israelis look like us in most ways values wise. Religious tolerance doesn’t exist in Gaza. You’re either Muslim or an infidel, and you better be a Muslim.”
Adding to his list of freedoms that “don’t exist” in the enclave, he said: “Female freedom, freedom of fair elections, freedom of speech, gay rights.”
