There is “absolutely no doubt” Trump will win the US election should he appear on the ballot in November, Ashley St. Clair has claimed.
The American political journalist appeared on GB News to assess this year’s presidential vote.
Trump is negotiating choppy waters in the US political sphere with both Maine and Colorado disqualifying the former president from their Republican presidential primary ballots.
The 77-year-old remains buoyant with polls heavily weighted in his favour as he challenges the rulings made by the two states.

Speaking on GB News, St. Clair said that if Trump emerges with the nomination, securing the popular vote will be a formality.
“There is without a shadow of a doubt he would win in November”, she said.
“Obviously they are trying these sneaky tactics to remove him on ballots in certain states, but those are getting struck down fast.
“They cannot do this. They cannot go against the will of the American people.
“If Trump is on the ballot, he is winning in November.”
Asked whether America risks “imploding” with a Trump victory, St. Clair suggested there is more risk of that scenario with Biden.
“With an unprecedented migrant crisis, our economy is in shambles, our national security is a joke”, she said.
“We’re the laughing stock of the world, with Joe Biden walking around like he’s a Roomba on stage. It’s a joke.
“I absolutely think Donald Trump is one of the last chances to not only save our county, but undo a lot of this bureaucratic mess.”
Trump was removed from the ballots of both Maine and Colorado after it was claimed the former president had violated section three of the 14th amendment.
Such an infringement bars officials from holding office if they engage in insurrection ore rebellion against the United States.
The ruling has never been used to disqualify a presidential candidate, and the US Supreme Court is expected to ultimately decide the case.
