Broadcaster and commentator Carol McGiffin came to the defence of those impacted by Sadiq Khan's Ulez policy, after a camera had to be repositioned by Transport for London for being in the wrong location.
The wrongly positioned camera resulted in over 900 drivers being incorrectly fined by the Ulez charge, and refunds have been promised to those affected.
Speaking on Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel, the former Loose Women panellist hit out at the policy implemented by the Mayor of London, and shared support for those taking down Ulez cameras.
McGiffin said: "The whole of the Ulez thing, this is about fines. They’re not going to enforce the fines for those wrongly positioned cameras. But when the truth is that they haven't actually enforced so many fines now, it's like, how are they ever going to catch up with them?

“But the thing is, people shouldn't pay these fines. And you know, you know, I'm not advocating breaking the law, I would never do that. But I mean, I do support the people that are cutting these cameras down. I wouldn't do it. Obviously I wouldn't, because if I said that, I'd get arrested. And I'm not going to say it, but I do support it because it's wholly wrong.
McGiffin continued: “The whole thing about the Ulez is wrong. Nobody wants it. And the way Sadiq Khan keeps going around telling everyone that thousands of people are dying from the quality of the air in London and it's all absolute BS, it's total rubbish.
“It's about raising revenue and they've got these fines coming out and no one's paying them and nobody seems to seems to care. What are they going to do, put all those people in prison? There's thousands of them. Now these ones that they've admitted they've put in the wrong place.
“I mean, the camera's the camera, isn't it? What do you mean you've put it in the wrong place? None of it makes any sense. And the air quality in London is actually quite good.”
Isabel then questioned McGiffin's claims, asking: “Is it? It’s certainly not reaching WHO standards, the World Health Organisation.”
McGiffin replied: “It is. There are lots of reports from journalists who have been round with the air quality monitors monitoring the air in London, even in the City of London in congested parts. And as long as it doesn't go above 10, whatever that that reading is, then it's fine."
Isabel hit back, saying: “It might be fine for you, but for anybody with asthma or with emphysema or any sort of lung condition... we don’t know, we've never had the kind of air quality that we have today, what the impact will be on the young lungs.
“They say that lungs are smaller of children that are growing up in London. And of course we've had the little girl who on her birth certificate it referenced it.”

McGiffin retorted: "One person! It doesn’t kill thousands of people!"
Deputy Editor of The Spectator, Freddy Gray, also shared his thoughts on Sadiq Khan's Ulez, saying: "I think what's interesting about that is just how much everyone hates it and just how effective it could be for the Tories.
"You know, Sadiq Khan, recent polling suggesting Sadiq Khan is in danger of losing London. London is an incredibly Labour city now.
"That would be a staggering loss for Labour. I don't think that will happen, I think he'll find a way of winning."
