British tourists faced a "holiday from hell" after entire families fell severely ill from a glut of gastric bug outbreak in Turkey.
Families who had spent thousands on their trips abroad were left devastated as their dream getaways turned into nightmares.
Guests at the Holiday Village Hotel in beach resort Sarigerme endured sickness and diarrhoea, with some even requiring IV drips and hospitalisation.
The four-star resort - which has faced similar complaints in the past - saw its guests vomiting and in distress, blaming unsanitary conditions in the resort for their troubles.

Melissa Davidson, 32, from Devon, and her children Logan and Bella, fell ill just three days into their holiday - and required IV drips at a local clinic.
Paige Pottinger, also 32, watched her son Noah, 4, placed on an IV drip as her entire family came down with illnesses.
Ryan Charlesworth, 39, paid £2,782 for his stay - but ended up hospitalised upon returning to the UK.
He was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, suspected to be caused by salmonella.
"This was meant to be our annual relaxing break in the sun. By the end of it, I started to wonder if I'd make it through," Charlesworth said.

The affected families are now seeking answers about their ordeal.
In the aftermath of the supposed outbreak, guests have blasted the dirty upholstery and a general lack of cleanliness at the Holiday Village Hotel.
Canteen staff were observed adding fresh food on top of dishes left out for extended periods, while one tourist claimed to have heard hotel staff recall finding vomit and faeces in the swimming pool.
Charlesworth said: "I know I'm not the only person to have fallen ill at this hotel and we understand several others were sick earlier in the year.
"If there were issues that were known about I feel we had a right to be warned in advance."
The families are now demanding answers about the hotel's hygiene practices.
Jatinder Paul, a lawyer specialising in serious international injury cases, has expressed deep concern about the situation.
"The accounts we've heard from these families about their time at this hotel in Turkey are deeply concerning, especially given the hotel's history of similar incidents over the last 15 years," Paul said.
Paul added: "While it's too late for these families, they understandably want answers about how this happened, and we're committed to getting them the justice they deserve."
