Landlord Robbie Hayes told GB News that he has 'rejected' the claim made by convicted terrorist Khalid Baqa

Convicted terrorist Khalid Baqa has been blasted for pursuing a lawsuit against a Buckinghamshire pub, claiming that the name is "deeply offensive".

Baqa, 60, was jailed for four years and eight months on five counts of dissemination of terrorist publications - and is now suing the landlord of the Saracen's Head Inn in Amersham for £2,000.

Speaking to GB News, landlord Robbie Hayes called the move a "complete joke", and called on other pubs of the same name or similar to be "vigilant" and "club together" against Baqa's claims.

Hayes also dismissed Baqa's claims that he has visited his establishment, citing his extensive checks of CCTV and accounts from his staff.

Discussing the case, commentator Carole Malone defended Hayes and claimed on GB News that the lawsuit it "not about religion", but simply a "spread bet" to "make money".

Malone fumed: "I think integration has totally and utterly failed. Integration has failed because we have allowed people from different cultures and different countries to come into this country and live parallel lives within it.

"We have allowed them to live separate lives. We have allowed people from different cultures to come here and and make us change our way of life."

Condemning Baqa's complaint about the Saracen's Head Inn, Malone claimed that she "doesn't care" if he is offended by the name, and should "be told to get lost".

Malone stated: "The landlord has now heard that this guy is targeting other pubs with the Saracen name. He's doing it like a spread bet, because if he has at go ten of them, he might get four grand out of two of them, so he's trying it on.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

"This is not about religion, this is not about being offended, this is about making money. And we should actually just tell him to get lost.

"Who cares if he's offended? Even if he is genuinely offended, I don't care. We should not have to change our culture."

Highlighting the wider issue of integration and British culture, Malone argued that anyone who challenges multiculturalism is immediately branded a "racist".

Malone concluded: "If anyone criticises multiculturalism and integration, it's seen as heresy by the political and cultural elites.

"You're immediately slated as a racist and a bigot and xenophobic, and your opinion is not supposed to count anymore. We have to criticise this - we cannot change our way of life because of one culture."

Landlord Robbie Hayes told GB News that he has "rejected the claim" made by Baqa, and is waiting for him to make a "counter-rejection".

Hayes explained: "I've already rejected the claim - he has a certain amount of time to counter-reject it again.

"And I've even got to the point on the website where I had to select what court I'd be happy to go to if it actually did go to court, so that could actually happen further down the line."
