A huge fire has broken out in Reading with thick black smoke engulfing the town's skyline.
The blaze broke out in the centre of the Berkshire town and appears to be coming from a construction site near to train station.
Emergency services are in attendance with fire fighters pictured on top of the building battling the large flames.
One person is said to be trapped at the top of the building, with social media footage appearing to show one person trapped at the top of the building being rescued via a crane.
In total, four fire engines were scrambled to Thames Tower to tackle the fire.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At 11.38am on Thursday, November 23, we received reports of a fire near Napier Road in Reading.
“A number of our crews are currently on the scene.
"While emergency services work, we ask that people avoid the area where possible and close windows and doors if you live or work nearby."

Thames Valley Police added: "Please continue to avoid the area to allow emergency services access to the scene."
Train services in and out of the local station have been cancelled.
One person in the town said: "You could literally feel the heat, a guy in my lobby said fire and I was like woah. No idea how it started."

They told local newspaper The Reading Chronicle: "There was a bunch of hairdressers that were working underneath and they all had to vacate quickly.
"About five or six, everyone said they were fine."
Another said: "The windows look like they are going to smash and shatter on you."
