A parking row has erupted after a mum claimed her "hostile" neighbour confronted her family for "hogging" a parking space in front of her own home.
The mum explained that she and her neighbours had been "on somewhat friendly terms" before she planted a tree which borders their front lawn.
Taking to social media, the mum said her family of five - who all have a vehicle - park two in spots in the garage and then utilise another two parking spots on their driveway with the fifth car usually parking on the street in front of their home.
"Most of the time I can secure that parking spot because I work from home so I do not tend to leave the house and therefore I like to park on the street because it does not get in the way of my other family members going to work," she wrote on Reddit.

"Most of the time my car is parked there but the neighbours would approach us occasionally cursing at us and saying we're playing games with them. I don't understand how we're playing games.
"Like I understand it's public parking but it's not like I'm purposely parking in front of their house."
The "hostility" began after one of her neighbours complained about a tree planted in the front garden.
The anonymous poster added: "I was planting a tree in my front yard that borders his as well, his wife came out saying I could not do that since it was also on their yard.
MORE NIGHTMARE NEIGHBOURS:
"I told her it wasn't since it was clearly on my yard but to be safe, I hired someone to survey my property to know exactly where it ends, and of course the area where I wanted to plant the tree was well within my property.
"I don't know if they took that gesture to offence but ever since then they were more hostile to us. Also I decided to switch my front lawn to artificial grass and the neighbours again came over to complain and gave us a hard time about it being on their area when I clearly told the construction workers to make it at least six inches from their border."
The mum said her neighbours have four cars in total which only the wife and husband use as some of the vehicles are not used every day.

She said: "Technically the spot is right in front of my house and I don't want to hog up another house's parking when it is already so sparse to find parking.
"It also makes me upset that they have plenty of options but they choose not to use it and wants to fight for this spot in front of my house all the time.
"I hear stories of neighbours getting mad that people would park in front of their house but I never heard of neighbours getting mad of you parking in front of your own house."
