Watch the moment Martin Daubney is left in hysterics as meteorologist Jim Dale warns of a “line in the sand moment” for climate change deniers while enjoying a holiday in Thailand.
Dale warned about a record-breaking couple of days on Sunday and Monday, saying they are unequivocal proof that the planet faces an existential climate crisis.
Monday was the hottest day on record, as was Sunday before it was beaten the following day, according to preliminary data from the European Union’s monitoring agency.
Speaking on GB News, Martin asked why Dale was enjoying a holiday in Thailand after travelling over via a gas-guzzling jet.

“You talk about a line in the sand, I notice you have a palm tree coming out of your head there”, he said.
“You’ve posted a picture on social media. You’re in Thailand. If global warming is so bad, how come you have cleared off to Thailand?”

Dale defended his trip, saying he will offset the emissions from the flight and he is carrying out charity work.
“We’ve got an office in Bangkok”, he said.
“Nobody is saying you can’t fly. I do offset the carbon on my flight every time.
“Fly a bit less, eat a bit less beef for example, there are things we can do. Not huge, massive moves. We might need them in the future though.”

Discussing the latest temperature data put out by the EU, Dale said it paints a stark picture.
“It’s just getting worse, day by day and week by week”, he said.
“We have got to admit things are not how they should be. Populations are being put at risk and it is going to get worse.”
He added: “This isn’t just areas with large populations, it’s also remote areas.

“I will say categorically this is a one way street. These graphs are just going up.
“Let’s make this clear, this is a line in the sand for climate change deniers.”
