Rowdy 'Brits abroad' have been blasted by residents in Magaluf for defecating, having sex and being disrespectful in the Spanish resort town as anti-tourist tempers continue to flare.
The criticism was sparked by a move by the Balearic Islands - home to Magaluf - to clamp down on alcohol-fuelled, out-of-control tourists by toughening up laws on street drinking and party boats.
And now, business owners in the popular holiday hotspot have come forward to lament their home's treatment at the hands of boozy Britons - as well as their local authorities' dissatisfactory response.
One restaurant owner in Magaluf said tourists had treated the island of Majorca poorly, and claimed the culture of "getting drunk and partying was only contributing to the area's "degradation", adding that the resort needed more of a family focus.
One resident said: "The island is paradise, but we have to change the tourist culture"

They continued: "I have worked here all my life, I am from Majorca... The island is paradise, but we have to change the tourist culture."
Under the new restrictions, tourists in Playa de Palma and Magaluf in Majorca, and San Antonio in Ibiza, must stick to certain authorised zones when drinking.
Anyone caught outside said areas will face fines of €500 to 1,500 (£430 to 1290) if their behaviour "disrupts coexistence, involves crowds or deteriorates the tranquillity of the environment".
The crowd control measures supplement restrictions on shops selling alcohol in "excessive tourism" areas - which must now shut completely between 9.30pm and 8am.

One restaurant owner slated British tourists for coming for "the alcohol and the mess"

The fresh sanctions came into force last night, prompting partygoing Britons to pledge to defy the crackdown and accuse local authorities of trying to "kill" Magaluf.
Ariana Riesquo-Tomos, another restaurant owner who co-runs a pizza shop with her Italian husband, slated British tourists for coming for "the alcohol and the mess" which Majorca offered.
Like the other restaurateur, Riesquo-Tomos told the Daily Mail that she would rather see families in the resort than drink- and drug-fuelled Britons - which she claimed often left her premises without paying.
While one British restaurateur said her compatriots passing by a nearby nightclub "wee in the corner or they do number twos or they have sex" outside her establishment.
The fightback from business owners follows a wave of protests which have swept across tourists hotspots in Spain - and Europe as a whole.
Last month, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Tenerife to protest against mass tourism - which they said was "killing the Canary Islands."
At the time, protesters were seen sporting extreme slogans; a number of those at the rally were pictured wearing t-shirts with pictures of an AK-47 rifle and the phrase "defend Canarias", while another was seen wearing a shirt with a large print of a middle finger alongside the words "f**k off!".
Across the islands, as well as in other hotspots like Barcelona, residents had vandalised local buildings telling visitors to "go home".
