Liam Gallagher dedicated his final song during a charity performance to Taylor Hawkins following the death of the Foo Fighters drummer at age 50 on Saturday.
The former Oasis frontman, 49, played a Teenage Cancer Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night, singing a career-spanning show of solo hits and Oasis classics.
At the end of the gig, Mr Gallagher sang Live Forever, dedicating it to his friend.
A photograph of the rock star, who died during the South American leg of Foo Fighters’ world tour, was displayed throughout the emotional performance.
The drum kit used in the charity gig also had the name “Taylor” written prominently on it.

Mr Gallagher is an ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust and played the penultimate concert in a week-long series which has also featured Don Broco, Yungblud and Madness. Ed Sheeran will close the run of gigs with a show on Sunday night.
Following the news of Mr Hawkins's sudden death, Mr Gallagher wrote in a tweet: “Absolutely devastated to hear the sad news about Taylor Hawkins my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends RIP brother.”

Other tributes that have poured in from titans of the music industry include Queen drummer Roger Taylor, who compared his death to “losing a younger favourite brother”.
The musician said: “He was a kind brilliant man and an inspirational mentor to my son Rufus and the best friend one could ever have. Devastated.”
Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose said Mr Hawkins was a “really great guy, drummer n’ family man” adding that he was “truly saddened” by the news of his death.
Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger also paid tribute, writing: “So incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Taylor Hawkins. My thoughts are with his family and the band at this time.”
Guitarist of rock band Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, added that he was “shocked and devastated”.
Meanwhile pop star Miley Cyrus, who also performed in Bogota this week, said her next show is dedicated to Mr Hawkins.
Mr Hawkins will appear on May’s upcoming remastered second solo album, Another World Revisited.
