Joe Biden has gone on a golfing holiday in the same month the US was crippled by storms and the economy tanked.

The President travelled to the Virgin Islands with his grandson to play on the Buccaneer Beach and Golf Resort’s 18-hole course on St. Croix.

The resort boasts that it is “one of the most iconic luxury resorts in St. Croix. It comes on a week where the US economy looks on the brink of falling into recession and in a month when a deadly blizzard left more than 60 people dead.
