Four men were jailed for murder last month, with a fifth man jailed for manslaughter.

West Mercia Police still do not know the motive for the attack but have confirmed that it was not a robbery.

The “severe” attack saw Aurman die at the scene, with his injuries leaving him with “no chance” of survival.

It has been revealed today that the killers were in Britain illegally after arriving from India before settling in the Black Country.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

The five men were working in the area when Aurman was killed, and four of them were in Britain illegally due to their visas expiring.

The four men jailed for life, Arshdeep Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Shivdeep Singh, and Manjot Singh, were all overstayers on expired visas, police confirmed.

Any foreign national offender sentenced to at least 12 months in prison must face a deportation order.

The men could now be deported to India, to serve the rest of their sentences in their country of origin.

Sukhmandeep Singh, who was in the UK legally, was unanimously convicted of manslaughter and jailed for 10 years last month after he helped the murderers locate Aurman.

He was acquitted of murder. The killers, who fled in two cars, were filmed dumping the axe murder weapon in a bin.
