Ian Blackford has hit out at the Prime Minister for helming a "sleaze-ridden party" during a fiery PMQs.
The SNP Westminster leader grilled Boris Johnson over Conservative cuts and the cost of living crisis, offering a solution that is "making a difference to millions" in Scotland.
Boris Johnson defended his Government's track record over the cost of living crisis.
He said: "Here are three other ideas for the Prime Minister that would help families with soaring costs right now, scrap his National Insurance tax hike, reverse the Tory cuts to Universal Credit and match Scotland's 6% benefits rise".
Blackford concluded his remarks by firing a warning to the Prime Minister over the upcoming local elections, dubbing the Conservative Party "sleaze-ridden".
The SNP Westminster leader stated: "Has the Prime Minister comes to terms with the reality that if he fails to act now, the voters will send him and his sleaze-ridden party a message by voting SNP next Thursday".
Boris Johnson insisted the Government are working to combat the cost of living crisis, stating "families up and down the country" are being assisted by Universal Credit.
He said: "There are far fewer children in workless households than there were before this Government came in.
"That is because we believe in championing work, championing employment and helping people into high-skilled jobs.
"As for our respective political longevities, I wouldn't like to bet on him [Ian Blackford] outlasting me".
