West Yorkshire Police spent the staggering amount on a team of 19 diversity workers

GB News host Stephen Dixon has revealed he once received "unconscious bias training" at a previous employer.
He told the panel: "I had unconscious bias training at a previous employer, and it was the biggest waste of time.
"It was three hours I'll never get back, and you really can't win. It was the most extraordinary thing."
Stephen's revelation comes after West Yorkshire Police sparked outrage for spending more than a million pounds on DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) roles and training.
According to The Telegraph, West Yorkshire Police spent more than £1.4million on salaries and training for DEI roles, totalling a team of 19 uniformed and civilian officers.
A constable in West Yorkshire force earns a starting salary of £31,164, but an internal diversity trainer is paid £45,924 per year, plus an additional £361,000 was spent on an external firm to provide additional training.

Discussing the costs on GB News, journalist Suzanne Evans declared the staggering spending by the force a "disgrace".
She declared: "They should have paid for 46 police constables, and yet they spent it on this DEI training, which ends up being the death of Henry Novak basically, that sort of issue.
"It's just disgraceful, DEI, I think it's a racket. A lot of people making a lot of money out of it, and I don't think it's worth it."
Delivering his verdict on the force's spending, comedian and broadcaster Steve N Allen was left shocked at the roles and the salaries exposed in the report.

He said: "Some of the roles are really worth looking at - they have the head of diversity, equity and inclusion on £91,000. Then you've got a manager, £57,000.
"There were inclusion officers on £45,000 to administrative assistance for DEI on £30,000 each.
"There was a DEI communications and marketing lead, £53,000, the list goes on.
Mr Allen said: "Most of those amount of numbers I read out, the wages, are more than your basic cop.

"So they could have paid for so many extra police instead."
He concluded: "If you believe that DEI is so core to the functioning of an organisation, it should be the jobs of the people who work there anyway.
"The head of the police should be in charge of this instead of outsourcing so many staff, 19 staff. That could have paid for more police. Just seems like a waste of money."
A spokesman from West Yorkshire Police said the force has reduced the number of roles by "approximately seven" since the figures were released last year.
