Martin Daubney reacted after his exasperating interview with former Labour adviser John McTernan

Martin Daubney as given his analysis after an fiery interview with former Tony Blair adviser John McTernan.

The GB News presenter hit out at the left-wing commentator and those on the far-left who generalise about vast swathes of the British population.

Speaking in an exclusive video to GB News members, he said: "Now you may have seen a conversation, a terse exchange of views I had with John McTernan.

"He's a former Labour Party adviser to the Tony Blair regime.

"We were talking about the riots across Britain and he said they were racist riots.

"Now, I picked him up on that. I said, don't you think it's not very helpful to refer to them as racist riots?

He added: "But remember Sir Keir Starmer called them clearly racist riots when he was in Northern Ireland. Now I put it to John McTernan in a clip that has now been seen over half a million times that this was unhelpful.

"Stop calling everybody racist because here's what the Far Left do.

"They take the worst behaviour of individuals at events and they apply it to everybody who was there, even if they had no knowledge of their activities, their actions, or even were in the same postcode, they may be in a different town.

"It doesn't matter because one person trying to firebomb a hotel in Hartlepool means every single person across the United Kingdom is as bad as that person.

"Now I put it to you, they would never in a million years admit that everybody in a pro-Palestine march was as bad as the very worst anti-Semite, saying that we must kill all the Jews that would never be allowed. It's just a few bad apples. It's just one or two individuals.

"But when it's the white working classes, everybody is tarred with the same brush.

"Everybody. I said to him, 'In the end, I think it's absolutely reprehensible what you're saying. I think it's contemptible.'"

He added: "That's the word I use. He could not get it. It was like trying to talk to a Martian. We are humans. We share the same language, but we are planets apart.

"This was an insight into the left-wing mentality. I think they do think that anybody with concerns about illegal immigration."
