Within days of receiving the jab the runner developed numbness in the right side of his face and began experiencing pain
A 54-year-old man from Omagh says his life has been completely devastated by side effects of the Pfizer Covid booster vaccine.
Larry Lowe was once fit and healthy, running 10km most days, however his life changed drastically on in December 2021 after receiving the jab.
Within days, he developed numbness in the right side of his face and began experiencing pain.
The symptoms have since spread through his body and intensified over the years, with doctors across the UK attributing the cause to the vaccine.
"I had lost all the feeling in my face, teeth, nose, tongue, eye, that whole side of my head," he told the BBC.
Lowe, a former college lecturer and musician, says he is now living with chronic pain and neurological problems that have forced him into medical retirement.
Larry's symptoms have progressively worsened, affecting his entire body - with a small fibre neuropathy causing pain from his toes to his fingertips.
Lowe said: "I feel as if there is a clamp on both sides of my head, squeezing it all the time."
He also experiences dry eye syndrome, forcing him to wear sunglasses both indoors and outdoors due to light sensitivity.
"I'm in so much pain, my life is barely worth living, except for my family," he added.
Medical specialists have confirmed the link between Lowe's symptoms and the Covid vaccine.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Consultants at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London told him the vaccine "was being recognised by my body as a toxin, and that was the cause of my problems".
In April 2024, a consultant neurologist at the Southern Health Trust diagnosed him with a "painful trigeminal neuropathy" with "the Covid vaccine as its main causative factor".
Larry's condition has had an impact on his daily life and career.
Once a vibrant musician, he said: "Before this I was in a rock band, lead guitar, singing, writing songs, recording albums, loving it. Now that's just a memory."
The chronic pain has forced him to medically retire from his job as a college lecturer.

Despite praising the medical professionals who have tried to help him, he said he feels abandoned: "I've just been left to just rot."
He is now seeking recognition of his vaccine injury and has called for both medical and psychological support.
The Public Health Agency (PHA) maintains that the benefits of Covid vaccines far outweigh any known side effects for most patients.
Dr Louise Herron, deputy director of public health at the PHA, said that most vaccine side effects are mild and resolve within a week.
Pfizer, the vaccine manufacturer, asserts that patient safety is paramount and that they take adverse reaction reports very seriously.
