Two men in their 40s have been arrested following the alleged rape of a 19-year-old man in Brighton.
The incident occurred near Harry Ramsdens in Old Steine at approximately 3.30am on Saturday.
Sussex Police said the victim was approached by two unknown men before being raped in Steine Lane shortly afterwards.
The suspects, aged 40 and 42, were arrested on Thursday in separate locations in Esher and Ramsgate. Both remain in police custody.

Following the incident, the victim managed to seek assistance from a passerby, who alerted the police.
The 19-year-old continues to receive support from specialist officers.
The 40-year-old suspect from Redhill in Surrey was arrested in Esher.

The second suspect, aged 42, from Chessington, Kingston-Upon-Thames, was apprehended in Ramsgate, Kent.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of rape.
They remain in police custody while investigations continue.

PADetective Inspector Sean Booth praised the arrests as "a direct result of excellent work from our dedicated team of staff, officers and the public."
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
"We are still urging anyone with information about this incident to contact police online, or by calling 101, quoting Operation Attach," DI Booth said.
