A 30-year-old man has been charged following a fatal hit-and-run collision in Smethwick which claimed the life of a two-year-old boy.
Sharjeel Shahzad was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident - which left four other people injured.
The crash occurred on Dartmouth Road just before 11pm on Saturday evening, with emergency services rushing five people to hospital.
A woman aged 29 and a 30-year-old man who were travelling in the same vehicle as the child sustained serious injuries.

The boy and the adults were in a Toyota Auris when it was in collision with a Porsche Cayenne.
Detectives said the driver of the Porsche, which had been stolen earlier in December, fled the scene.
Police believe the Porsche was driving away from a roundabout on the town's Kenrick Way, when the crash took place.
And now, Shahzad faces multiple charges, including causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
