Amanda Knox's visit to the United Kingdom descended into chaos yesterday evening when her documentary was banned from being screened at a south London venue mere hours before the scheduled event.
The 38-year-old American had planned to present Mouth Of The Wolf, a film concerning the killing of her former flatmate Meredith Kercher, at Greenwich Picturehouse.
However, attendees received notification via Eventbrite shortly before the 6.45pm showing that the screening could not proceed.
"Due to the documentary not having a British Board of Film Classification, it cannot be screened to a public audience," the message stated.

The Innocence Project London, organisers of the event, arranged for Ms Knox and her husband Christopher Robinson to conduct an audience question session and book signing as an alternative.
The man Ms Knox falsely accused of murdering the 21-year-old Leeds University student has spoken out against her reinvention as a justice campaigner.
Patrick Lumumba, a bar owner who endured a fortnight in custody following Ms Knox's accusations, claims she has failed to compensate him despite court orders.
"Amanda hasn't paid me anything. How can she expect to help other alleged victims of miscarriages of justice if she doesn't start by compensating me, her victim?" the 56-year-old said.

"To date, Knox has not paid Patrick anything," Mr Pacelli added.
Ms Knox, who was twice cleared of Ms Kercher's 2007 murder in Italy, has also faced accusations of profiting from the tragedy.
Rudy Hermann Guede was ultimately convicted of the murder and released in 2021.

| GOOGLE MAPSSince touching down in Britain, she has been active on social media and made a television appearance on Good Morning Britain promoting her podcast about convicted nurse Lucy Letby, whose guilty verdict Ms Knox believes is unsound.
The American has repositioned herself as an advocate for those wrongly convicted, though critics have labelled this hypocritical given her treatment of Lumumba.
"Meredith was the real victim, yet Amanda is set to make a huge amount of money from what happened," Lumumba observed.
The Kercher family's legal representative has also condemned Ms Knox's continued public presence.

"Every time she speaks, she reopens the tragedy of what happened to Meredith," Mr Maresca stated.
"It really hurts the family. Why doesn't she respect her memory and keep quiet?"
The documentary screening was scheduled to take place again this evening despite the setback.
A venue source described the situation as unfortunate, but noted the event had simply shifted format rather than being cancelled entirely.
