Today we take a look at members reaction to Rachel Reeves' speech in Parliament as she tries maintain control following more market turmoil.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer yesterday refused to be drawn into whether Reeves would remain as Chancellor at the 2029 General Election. When asked to give a yes or no answer on whether or not the Chancellor will still be in post at the next election, Starmer said the UK will “stick to the fiscal rules”, claiming: “I’m confident in our mission for growth, and I’m confident, completely confident, in my team."

Who wrote that for you Rachel? You certainly could not look the opposition in the eye. She is now going to get told the truth about her disaster Budget. She has no answer for what she has done to our Country. Time for you to retire from the job ASAP. – Pauline Turner

Has she got no scruples, getting in bed with China and its atrocious human rights record. Disgusting hypocrisy on a massive level!!! China only see it one way, domination. And Labour are not strong enough to hold the line. Import everything with huge carbon footprints, couldn’t make it up! - David Bird

She'll bang on about a fictional black hole and try and badge £600 million from the Chinese Communist Party, over a 5 year period, as a success. She'll continue the ruinous taxes that are destroying economic growth and food security. - Gregg Peers

The way Reeves and the rest of the Cabinet are laughing reminds me of "fiddling whilst Rome burns". They haven't a clue how the economy is and will affect normal people. They have their guaranteed salaries, homes, heating, chauffeured everywhere, business travel, gold plated pensions after 5 years etc. - Anthony Gould

March the 26th, Reeves will call another budget, and she will be back for more, they won’t get the growth she needs, her first budget saw to that. - Grumpy Grandad

Rachel Reeves argument this afternoon blaming the previous Government just doesn't stand up Labour have been in office 194 long days, Blaming Liz Truss for where we are. Liz Truss was in office for 50 days. So Reeves argument that her budget hasn't had time to take effect is rubbish it's now 76 days since the disaster. She is incompetent. - Brian Dunkley

The debate in Parliament shows what a pantomime the political classes and the House of Commons are. - Richard Hill

Our shambles of a government is even worse than I feared it would prove to be and the fallout is only beginning to be felt. Wait until interest rates spike to 15% if you think things are bad now you ain't seen nothing yet and you selfish fools that voted Reform carry most of the blame. This is YOUR fault. But at least you gave the Tories a kicking you brave patriots. - Conor Macgillivray

Everywhere you turn this rabble led by the bonehead Marxist is making us a laughing stock - I noticed Rachel from accounts yet again referred to £600million from China deal but not the 5 years in timespan! Economical with the truth or what?! - Martin Grace

It's painfully clear that Rachel Reeves is so far out of her depth it's untrue. I would not let her do the accounts for my dog.. - Gordon Neal
