Good Afternoon Britain presenters Emily Carver and Tom Harwood answered some quick fire questions in a video for GBN Members.
When asked first about who their dream interview guest would be Tom opted for billionaire Elon Musk saying "He's the man that has single handedly changed the conversation in the United Kingdom, particularly around grooming gangs. But I think there's also a very interesting conversation to have with Elon Musk about his view on the future of AI."
Emily took a different route and said "I think JK Rowling actually, because no one ever gets to interview her. She's quite quiet. She's loud on Twitter from time to time, but no one seems to get her in front of a camera. And I think we'd have a fantastic interview. And I imagine if Tom was involved, there might be some challenging there as well. So it could be good."

The pair were then asked their favourite thing about working at the People's Channel with Emily commenting on how much she enjoys the freedom at GB News saying "We can come up with stories. We can choose angles that perhaps some of the other media shy away from, and we do just have a lot of control over what we put on air."
Tom shared how much he appreciates the community of viewers at GBN and said "It's a proper community where people comment on what's going on, sending their thoughts, sending their pictures, and they're able to sort of absolutely have that interactive space of what the news is. It's it's not just sort of monotone. It's not just a monologue. It's a two way conversation."

Finally, Emily and Tom recalled their favourite moments so far working at GB News with Tom discussing his experience reporting at COP26 saying "Not only did I chase people like John Kerry down corridors asking questions and try and shout at Justin Trudeau as he wandered into restricted areas. But I spent days out with the people protesting the climate conference and just had a lot of fun interviewing all sorts of people from all sorts of perspectives." He went on to say "I think was able to give a bit of a different perspective on a climate conference than perhaps you'd traditionally expect on television news."
Emily had two particular favourite memories beginning with a more light hearted moment she jokingly said "It's probably the first time I ever presented on GB news and presented anything really for that matter. I decided to look in the wrong camera for the first minute or so, which was slightly embarrassing, but I suppose it's been upwards from there."
She went on to speak about a particularly memorable day spent filming on a farm saying "I really enjoyed that. It was a very, very long day, but it got to the heart of the row over the family farm tax rate. So that was great to be on the ground there somewhere where I'm not usually."
