Behind the scenes: Sneak peek at Bev Turner's hair and make-up routine before going live on air

Addressing GB News members, Bev said: "Good morning. Here we are with one of the make up behind the scenes videos. This is Helen. Helen is amazing. What have we done today? How am I?"

Make-up artist, Helen explained: "So, we have done this morning, because Bev came in with this beautiful red dress on, we've gone a little bit more nude on the eyes and done a bit of a more of a black flick and a bright red lip."

Helen said that as Bev came in with a bright red dress, she matched the lip with a red shade but went more light with the eye makeup.

Bev joked: "And I looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards when I came in this morning, didn't I?"

Helen teased: "Well, a little bit, but you know, we don't film that bit," to which Bev added: "I might get brave enough eventually."

The pair went on to discuss how Bev styles her hair before hosting her show with Andrew Pierce on GB News.

Bev said: "I had the blow dry with pin curls yesterday that Lisa had done and I hadn't washed it overnight. So when I came in this morning there was a bit of sort of shape existing and then you worked with that."

Helen added: "So we just put some heated rollers through the top just to give it that bounce and that volume and just had to tong the ends really, shake it out, give it a spray and voila!"
