A skincare fanatic claims one natural ingredient can knock years off the face
The primary factors that contribute to wrinkling are biological. Sometimes, however, there are environmental elements at play.
While no single product or food can reverse this process, signs of ageing can be minimised with the help of natural ingredients.
Sheri, creator of the YouTube channel Graceful Beauty on YouTube, recently shared a "game-changing" hack she learned from a certified dermatologist, claiming "it may even prevent plastic surgery".
“This shocking little secret I learned from a dermatologist, this is a little hack that could potentially make us look five if not ten years younger,” she said.

“No skincare product is going to life sagging skin. For example, if you’ve lost a tonne of weight, and now your skin is super saggy, there’s no skincare serum that’s going to get rid of all of that."
According to the YouTuber, hydrating the skin is enough to restore a youthful complexion.
“To get the glowy, plump, juicy, grape-like skin, I always like to go in with my Avene thermal spray water," said Sheri.
“You can use whatever hydration spray that you already have at home.
“No matter what your skin type, [this] is the most amazing burst of hydration on your skin, [and] will help the rest of your product penetrate better.
“Adding this as your first step in your hydration routine can really make a huge, huge difference. This is a holy grail of mine.”
According to health bodies, the minerals in thermal water appear to have antioxidant properties that neutralise free radicals.
Healthline says these skin-nourishing qualities can be reaped from soaking in thermal water, a practice known as balneotherapy.

“In balneotherapy, various minerals have been shown to penetrate and benefit skin,” writes the health body.
“The most common soluble minerals include calcium, bicarbonate, silicates, iron compounds, sodium, and magnesium salts, sulfur compounds, and metals, along with trace elements like selenium.”
“Some research suggests that using thermal water on skin can make it feel more soft, supple and comfortable.”
Though there is proof that the sprays can provide moisture, it should be noted that overapplication can backfire.
