British actor Jim Broadbent is known for his versatile and humorous roles in award-winning films.
He's received numerous accolades for these performances, obtaining an Acadamy Award in 2001.
Before shooting to fame, Jim was raised in Lincolnshire and attended school in Reading. He subsequently graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Today, the actor and his wife Anastasia Lewis reportedly split their time between their North London home and a cottage in Lincolnshire.

Their Lincolnshire base is located near the Methodist chapel that Jim’s father Roy helped turn into a theatre.
According to property experts at Rightmove, most house sales in Lincolnshire last year involved detached properties which sold for an average of £313,209.
“Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £185,291, while terraced properties fetched £143,215,” reads the website.
“The value of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses has risen although there has been a drop of 0.2 per cent in the average flat value.”
The latest house price index by online estate agent Purplebricks shows that the average house price in Lincolnshire is currently up two per cent compared to this time last year.
