Gary Barlow has owned the beautiful home for more than 15 years

Gary Barlow bought his home in the Cotswolds for £2.3million in 2007.

It acts as his UK base as the singer also owns a property in Santa Monica, California.

His UK home is a five bedroom property found in Alvescot, Oxfordshire.

In 2020, he won permission to upgrade the home with a luxury garage and shed for gardening equipment.

The conversion was planned to include a landscaping programme with ornamental trees, flower beds and brick paving.

The Cotswolds is a rural part of England with a small village feel.

It is a much-loved spot for tourists and residents and it is around a two-hour drive from London.

Cotswolds.org described it as "an area of beautiful countryside, picturesque villages and vibrant market towns, covering almost 800 square miles".

It added: "Loved by visitors and residents alike, the Cotswolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in southern England runs mainly through the counties of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, but also Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire and Somerset.

"The Cotswold area covers almost 800 square miles of beautiful scenery, chocolate box villages, vibrant market towns and miles and miles of countryside walks.

"[There are] lots of things to do and a plentiful supply of luxury Cotswold hotels, self catering cottages, bed and breakfast accommodation and places to eat."

Gary Barlow is one of many musicians who have bought properties in peaceful parts of the UK.

The home can be found in a private part of London, near Kensington High Street.

Singer Bonnie Tyler lived near the water in south Wales.

The area is "steeped in history" and has "fabulous views".
