The Undertones singer Feargal Sharkey lives in a 'lovely' part of the UK 'well worth a visit'

Feargal Sharkey is best known as the frontman of Undertones and an environmental activist.
The singer was born in northern Ireland but now lives in north London.
He owns a property by the River Lea which is a beautiful spot for a peaceful walk in nature.
Those who have visited the river have left reviews on Tripadvisor and it has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

One reviewer wrote: "[It's a] great place For walking. The River Lea runs from Hertford to East London.
"The river is well used by narrow boats and other boats.
"The towpath is also well used by walkers, cyclists and runners."
Another said: "Part of the lovely Lea Valley area.. much loved and frequented by local residents.. masses of wildlife and an area really well looked after.
"A Lovely area well worth a visit.. if you're fit, you can walk right into the middle of London."
One more wrote: "We took a family stroll from Herford to Amwell and it was absolutely lovely."
He lives near Amwell Magna Fishery which is also by the river.
The singer has a love of fly fishing and joined the club when moving to the area.

However, this sparked his relationship with environmental activism as he discovered water being extracted from the River Lea was causing it to slowly die.
In recent years, Feargal has swapped his career as a singer for work with environmental groups across the country.

He lives in part of the capital city that has a quiet village feel.
