A heater sold in the UK could cause a serious risk
British shoppers have been alerted of a product recall for a heater they may be using in their homes.
The plug-in heater could cause a "serious risk of electric shock" when used.
A warning was shared by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), which urged customers to stop using the item immediately.
It has been recalled from end users and the faulty batches are no longer on sale.

The OPSS stated: "The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the heating element could be accessed with minimal force.
"The plug face also did not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard, exposing users to an electric shock hazard when unplugging, or plugging in, the plug from the socket.
"The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994."
Shoppers can get more information by contacting the retailer they bought it from.
The OPSS added: "The product has been recalled from end users.

"Owners should stop using the product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress."
This comes as shoppers were warned that a gift set sold in Boots was recalled as it is unsafe to use.
Shoppers should return it to the store where it was bought for a full refund, and let their loved ones know if they have given it as a gift.
