Shoppers are raving about further reductions at the store as a new sale will see prices on essential kitchen products drop by a further 70 per cent.


Bargain hunters shared the rare deal on Facebook after spotting a price drop in the store’s middle aisle.

The German-owned chain will be lowering the price of a range of favourite kitchen items, including hand whisk and containers, amid the mass reductions.

A Facebook group dedicated to “Extreme Couponing and Bargains,” highlighted the bargain online.

Customers will have the chance to pick up a SilverCrest hand mixer for £4.49, down from the original price of £14.99.

The gadget operates at five different speeds and can blend, whisk and chop products, with a turbo boost button offering powerful pulse blending.

The glass bowl set from Enesteo, which originally retailed for £9.99, has seen its price slashed by 70 per cent, setting shoppers back a mere £2.99.

Social media users spotted the bargains at Lidl branches in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham.

It comes and Lidl shoppers have gone mad on social media after discovering a sweet treat is on offer for less than a pound at the supermarket.

Britons rejoiced across Facebook and Instagram after finding the Eaton Mess Blondies at Lidl bakeries.

The sweet treat appeared on the Instagram account Newfoodsuk, in a post captioned: “Eaton Mess Blondies spotted at Lidl.”

The baked goods, on offer for just 89p, appeared in a picture in the post with the words “limited offer”.

One customer commented: “These were made by the gods.” Meanwhile, another shopper labelled the treat Lidl’s “best baked good yet”.

The chain's official website states that the Eton Mess Blondie is a "Special Guest" and will be available in stores until the end of the month.

Other baked goods in the range include a poppy seed roll, which is also on offer until July 31.
