Women told the 'crucial' product to apply twice a day for a more radiant and youthful complexion

Your daily routine can take years off of your appearance
Using the right products every day can help you turn back the clock on your appearance, and what you use in summer will not be the same as what your skin needs in winter.
A skin care expert shared why it is vital to apply one product at least twice a day, especially in the colder months.
Clinic Lead at Face the Future, Kimberley Medd discussed skin care challenges that are more common in winter.
She said: "If your skin is having small breakouts, heightened skin sensitivity or has excessive oil or skin dryness, taking time to detox your skin can help to combat these issues to regain balance and optimal skin health.
"A healthy skin barrier is important to maintain all year round to support the skin against all changes from hormonal to environmental."
The expert added it is worth speaking to a dermatologist for your specific needs, but recommended some hacks all women can use for glowing skin.
She suggested getting enough sleep, using the right products and looking after your gut as ways to do this.
Another huge skin care step that should not be missed is moisturiser - "say yes to double cream".
Kimberley continued: "Applying moisturiser twice a day as a minimum, especially in the winter months/cold weather is important to protect the skin from the environment to avoid dry skin.
"Moisturising is also crucial for dry skin in order to help the skin heal and for skin cell turnover, providing it a hydrating environment to repair.
"If the skin is irritated, dry skin can make it more prone to itching, redness and it can slow down the healing process."
Keeping your skin well-hydrated is more important than you may realise for a bright complexion.
