Many men and women struggle with thinning hair
Every product you put on your hair, your diet and your lifestyle decisions can all change how your barnet looks.
For those who are struggling with hair that is thinning or isn't growing well, an expert suggested improving your scalp care.
Scalp care is important but often overlooked, award-winning hairstylist and founder of Bibo Salon and Oakland Susie Geda explained.
She said this is the secret to thicker, healthier hair, alongside diet and using the right products. Scalp care can involve regular scalp massages, which can be done at home to improve circulation. Or, using detox shampoos once a week.
She told GB News: "As a hairstylist with over 20 years of experience, achieving healthier, thicker hair starts with understanding your scalp and hair's needs.
"A lot of people don't consider the health of their scalp as a key factor that can prevent hair from becoming thick or even contribute to lack of hair growth. I always tell my clients: a healthy scalp equals healthy hair.
"I also highly recommend to my clients to take the supplement Nutrafol, which has been incredible for supporting hair growth and strength."
Achieving optimal hair health requires a comprehensive approach, such as combining proper nutrition with gentle hair care practices to achieve the best results.
Susie emphasised the importance of protein-rich foods and omega-3 fatty acids for maintaining healthy hair.
These dietary components play a vital role in nourishing hair from within, according to the expert stylist.
She said: "Focus on combining proper nutrition and gentle hair care, and consume protein-rich foods and omega-3 fatty acids to nourish your hair from within."
