Removing your hair ties incorrectly could be destroying your locks
Taking a bit of extra care with your hair can totally transform your locks over time.
One model revealed that a simple change to how you remove your hair ties can elevate your appearance.
Speaking about her tips for "long, healthy hair", Valeria Liopvetsky told YouTube that she is very careful when she is removing her hair elastics.
A lot of women choose to wear their hair up because it can be chic and stylish, whilst also keeping their strands out of their face.

However, many are guilty of ripping their hair ties out of their hair without any thought for their lovely locks.
Model Valeria said: "With elastics, you want to make sure that when you take them out of your hair, you don't pull on it."
Demonstrating removing a hair elastic, she said: "This motion, can you imagine what happens to your poor, sensitive hair? Don't do that.
"You want to make sure that you're really taking your time to take it out slowly without ripping your hair."
Valeria provided a second tip for a magnificent mane, urging fellow hair enthusiasts to take care when brushing their hair.
For "long, healthy" locks, you mustn't drag your brush through your hair but rather, be careful with it - especially when it's wet.
The model advised: "Be very gentle with your hair because it's prone to breakage when it's wet.
"What you want to do is, when it's wet, start from the ends and go all the way up. Really be gentle with it - don't pull and don't tug at it. Take care of your hair!"
