Shoppers are in uproar over the discontinuation of two-litre orange juice cartons
Sainsbury's has sparked customer outrage after axing its two-litre orange juice carton, with shoppers saying they now have to pay more for the same amount of juice.
The supermarket giant has removed the popular breakfast staple from its shelves, leaving customers no choice but to purchase two separate one-litre cartons instead.
The move has prompted frustrated shoppers to take to social media platform X to question the supermarket's decision.
The change means customers must buy two smaller packs, leading to complaints across social media.

The price hike means customers who previously paid £1.99 for a two-litre carton must now spend £2.38 for the same amount by purchasing two one-litre cartons at £1.19 each.
The 38p increase represents a significant price jump for shoppers who regularly purchase orange juice.
One frustrated customer took to X, asking: "Very simple question, why have you stopped selling 2L orange juice, forcing us to pay more for 2 x 1L?"
The discontinuation has led some customers to consider switching to rival supermarkets, with one shopper declaring they would take their business to Aldi instead.
"Aldi sells [two-litre cartons], and this leaves me no alternative but to go to them," the disgruntled customer posted on social media.
The discount supermarket continues to offer two-litre orange juice cartons at £1.99, matching Sainsbury's previous price point.
Sainsbury's has acknowledged the discontinuation on social media and apologised to customers for the inconvenience.
The supermarket has confirmed the product's discontinuation on their social media channels, offering an apology to affected customers.
