WAITROSE
The retailer said: "We are recalling Waitrose Chinese Takeaway bag for 2 due to undeclared allergen - Mollusc
"We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused."
Symptoms of mollusc or shellfish allergy can range in severity. They can include itching, hives, swelling of the lips, face, tongue and throat, and congestion, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Those with an allergy have been asked not to eat the affected batches, and instead, return them to stores.
Waitrose added: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and would like to assure customers of our continued commitment to the highest standards of product quality and food safety."
This comes as another curry was pulled from UK stores due to a "possible health risk" and more undeclared allergens.
