The fizzy drink was available from 2005 to 2007 before being axed

Coca-Cola Lime has made a surprise return to UK supermarket shelves, 17 years after being discontinued.

The beverage, originally available from 2005 to 2007 before being axed by the drinks maker, has been spotted by excited shoppers at Farmfoods stores across the country.

It combines the classic Coca-Cola taste with lime juice, offering a convenient alternative for consumers.

The innovative blend eliminates the need for customers to manually add fresh lime slices to their beverages, as noted by the drinks manufacturer.

The comeback follows a pattern of recent product removals by Nestle and Cadbury.

CONDENSED MILK TREAT

Nestle has discontinued its Carnation Vegan Condensed Milk alternative

NESTLE

Nestle recently discontinued its popular Carnation Vegan Condensed Milk Alternative, leaving plant-based Britons searching for alternatives.

The oat and rice-based product, which launched in 2020, had become a staple for vegan sweet treats and was widely available in major supermarkets at £2.50.

Cadbury fans were also left disappointed after discovering that the "best chocolate bar ever made" has been discontinued.

The Big Taste range included popular flavours such as Oreo Crunch, Toffee Whole Nut, and Triple Choc Sensation, which featured layers of milk, white, and dark chocolate.
